Ahh, blogging about food today, huh? Of course, you know, there is only one TRUE food.

Frosted, chocolate cake! Speak of that, or nothing!

Well, now that's out of my system -- I very much like the unexpectedly serene photo of the sink and window in the Men's Room.

Go figure! ;-)

YUM CHOCOLATE cake, Yuuuuuuuuum! Maybe there is some deep Freudian connection between a sink and food. Got any theories????

Ummm yeah, I don't really get the food porn thing - I mean, mushrooms? They don't do anything for me, and there was a surprising lack of chocolate related photo's.

I wonder what the men think when they see pretty coloured knitting in the loo?

they generally don't notice it, they don't even notice there are 9 huge paintings lining the walls just below the ceiling LOL!

Interesting about the marmite. Now I want to try it. Will keep my eye out for it.

I laugh about the food porn. When I used to belong to some of the art clubs back in Green Bay, they would always take photos of the table of food before refreshments or before an art reception. I never understood why. I will look back at those elderly ladies with different eyes now.
Hey Jaffy,
Thank you for sharing the piece on banning food photography in restaurants - I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm both a fan and "practitioner" of food porn and I agree with some of the people interviewed - I think it is fine as long as it's unobstrusive and you're considerate to other diners...shoot close-ups (other people will not be included in the frame)...no flash (I hate flashes)...minimum hoohaa...and then eat it. x

But what else could they possibly find to look at in the loo? Er.. no, don't answer that!

I found some Marmite in the store tonight! I am anxious to try.

I am not answering that undaunted LOL!

Oh dear, okay about the marmite thing Jan, use a little sparingly on a slice of buttered toast, or a muffin or crumpet. I must say you are a brave soul for trying. I absolutely LOVE the stuff, but my husband, an eater of tripe I may add, loathes marmite.
